How do I access the product I just purchased?
Once you have completed the payment process, you will be given
the option to immediately view or download your products
(providing that the product you purchased was not a video
package, which is sent via mail). If you have purchased a class
as part of the Qualified Storage Manager Program, you can
immediately view that class through your “Courses” page. For
e-books, you can immediately open and view your PDF or download
the file to your computer from your “Products” page. For
audiocasts, you can immediately listen to the presentation via
streaming audio or download the MP3 file to your computer. The
same holds true for the audiocast companion manual: immediately
open the PDF or download it.
If you don’t wish to use or download your products at the
time of purchase, you can always do so later by signing in to
your account and accessing your “Products” or “Courses” page.
Sign in to your account by entering your e-mail address and
password into the boxes in the upper right-hand corner of the
screen.
Q:
Can I download/view my product more than once?
Yes, you can download your products or view your QSM courses as
often as you like. Products will be stored on your “products”
page for as long as you are a registered SSTI user. QSM classes
will be stored on your “Courses” page.
Q:
How do I download products or view classes I’ve purchased in the
past?
Make sure you are signed in to the system. If you are signed in,
you will see the following four tabs in the upper right corner
of the screen:
Courses
Products
Profile
Sign Out
If you are not signed in, you can do so by entering your
e-mail address and password into the boxes at the upper right of
the screen. Once you are signed in, click on the “Products” or
“Courses” tab at the upper right, then choose the product or
class you would like to access.
Note: If you are not authenticated as a user in the system,
you will be prompted to log in when you click on something that
requires an e-mail address and password.
Q:
Where do I access/modify my account information?
This function is only available to users who have signed in to
the system. To do so, enter your e-mail address and password in
the upper right corner of the screen. Once you have signed in,
you will see a “Profile” tab appear in the upper right of the
screen. Access that link to modify your account information.
Q: What is a promotion
code?
A promotion code is used to apply discounts or other special
offers to your purchase.
Q: Where do I
get an SSTI promotion code?
Promotion codes for SSTI may be found in several places: in
print SSTI ads in Inside Self-Storage magazine; the ISS free
weekly e-newsletter; promotional e-mails or faxes; or
promotional mailers. Watch these places for promotional
opportunities!
Q: I have
a promotion code. How do I use it?
You can use your promotion code in two ways: First, you can
visit Selfstorageeducation.com and immediately enter the code
into the “Promotion Codes” at the top of the screen. You will
then be taken to a discount-shopping page. Or you can simply
visit the website and shop, adding items to your cart. You’ll be
prompted to enter your promotion code into the appropriate box
during the checkout process. In either case, the system will
automatically apply the discount to your purchase.
Q:
How do I clear the contents of my shopping cart?
To clear the contents of your shopping cart, click on the
shopping-cart icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
You’ll then be able see your cart contents. Click on the “Remove
From Cart” button below where it says “Quantity.” Do this for
each item until all contents have been removed from the cart.

I
forgot my password. How can I get in to the system?
If you have forgotten your password, click on the "Forgot your
password?" link on the sign-in page.
Q: What
forms of payment do you accept online?
We accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express credit cards.
Q:
I’ve chosen “Play Now” to listen to my audiocast, but I don’t
hear anything. What’s happening?
Check the Internet settings for your media player and make sure
your firewall allows streaming audio on port 80.
Q:
I am attempting to view my QSM course webinar, but I’m having
trouble. What could be happening?
Make sure you have the most updated version of Adobe Flash
Player installed on your computer. If not, you can download it
at www.flash.com.
